Inspired by my visit to La Grande Épicerie de Paris, where each aisle celebrates flavors from around the world, The Runway Lounge reimagines that concept through the lens of design, travel, and technology.
Located above The Market Boutique, this two-level experience begins on the ground floor, where AI-powered vending galleries, each dedicated to a different country inviting travelers to explore global tastes. From Gallery Japan’s sushi, ramen, and matcha drinks to Gallery Mexico’s dulces and Jarritos sodas, Gallery France’s Petrossian caviar and Ladurée or Pierre Hermé macarons, Gallery Cuba’s pastelitos and Malta sodas, Gallery Italy’s gelato and San Carlo chips, Gallery Belgium’s premium chocolates and waffles, and Gallery Africa’s chin chin and Stoney Tangawizi, alongside additional galleries celebrating other regions of the world. Each section offers a window into authentic culinary culture.
Upstairs, travelers ascend into the lounge, a glass-encased runway lounge designed for unwinding before departure. With panoramic views, modular furniture, and soft lighting, the space invites guests to enjoy their selections in comfort. Whether savoring a Parisian pastry, a Spanish Grefusas, or a frozen treat from Tokyo, the global vending interlude merges hospitality, architecture, and vending innovation into one seamless destination. A place where waiting becomes an experience, and every bite tells a story from somewhere in the world.
